DIY Trash Crafts
Recycled Crate box play kitchen

we made these from so old crates that had been thrown away and some wood that had been left at the side of the rode. Along with a metal bowl for the sink and selves for storage from the thrift store ,even the paint had been found in the garbage . the only thing we bought was the hidges, handles, and nobs for the stove and faucet , i think we could have gotten them other way if we tried a little harder, like off of an old piece of furniture or something . we got a bunch of pots and pans from the thirft store along with salt and pepper shakers , a little tea pot , a toy kettle . its amazing what you can find at a thirft store if you just have patients and refuse to buy it anywhere else, try it!

About Me

DIY Family
SLC, UT, United States
We are a little home schooling freegan radical family located in Salt Lake City. Ellijah and Amelie have givens my self and jacob the privilege of being their parents and we couldn't be more grateful. This is a space for our family to share all our home made food, up-cycled toys, gadgets and what-nots. A space to share our adventures and creations of all sorts. Animal rights are very important to us as well as the environment and we love them both very dearly. Art is the most important aspect of our daily lives and our hours are filled with it as well as every inch of our home. We have a back yard sanctuary with 6 chickens named Pricilla , Goldie, Shirley, Lucy, Fred and George and a rabbit named Mochi. We'd love to be able to provide homes for more when we have the resources. We homeschool as well as attend the open classroom in the avenues which is a cooperative charter school with a big focus on the arts and whole child education. We also incorporate a lot of Waldorf style learning in our home as well as unschooling. Our live couldn't be simpler nor lovelier
